Brandon Tang is an experienced California workers’ compensation attorney with more than a decade of litigation practice on both the defense and applicant sides. His unique background—ranging from partnership at a major defense firm to senior-level advocacy for injured workers—gives him an insider’s understanding of how insurance carriers evaluate and defend claims.
Brandon has managed hundreds of WCAB cases from intake through trial, settlement, and appeal. He is skilled in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation, including QME/AME coordination, discovery and depositions, settlement negotiation, and courtroom advocacy. His balanced approach blends strategic litigation skills with a commitment to securing the best possible medical and financial outcomes for his clients.
Before joining Minaie Law Group, Brandon served as a Partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, where he defended employers and insurance carriers in high-exposure workers’ compensation claims. This also included public entity claims. He has also represented injured workers as a Senior Associate at the Law Offices of Bo Katzakian and handled diverse civil litigation matters including construction defect, personal injury, employment, and landlord-tenant disputes.
Brandon earned his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law and his B.A. in Economics and Communications from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA). While attending UC Davis, Brandon was an active member of Delta Sigma Phi, where he developed leadership, teamwork, and community engagement skills that continue to inform his legal practice today.
When not advocating for his clients, Brandon enjoys exploring the Bay Area food scene, following professional sports, and spending time with family. Fun fact – Brandon is also a second level master in the use of the Abacus.
